We had a fantastic stay at Pension Balcones Azules! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. The owner was incredibly helpful, giving us great recommendations for day trips along the coast. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. Plus, the price was very reasonable for a holiday weekend.

We had a minor issue with the electricity flickering on and off, but the helpful staff quickly resolved it at reception. The room itself was comfortable, with a memory foam top mattress that provided a great night's sleep. The balconies overlooking the archaeological site added a lovely touch. The location was convenient, just a short walk to Plaza San Francisco and the nearby El Refugio del Ficus bar, where I enjoyed some delicious food. I would recommend this hotel for its comfortable rooms, helpful staff, and convenient location.

Great value for the money, clean room with a comfortable bed and a powerful hot shower. The location was excellent, right across from an archaeological site and just around the corner from a main square. The staff were friendly and spoke English, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The breakfast option could have been better.

Convenient location for city centre activities, helpful owner, suggestions for day trips along the coast, ultra clean, bigger bathroom than expected, reasonable price for Easter weekend stay, friendly and chatty woman who owns the place, private parking available at a reasonable cost , easily extended parking for an extra day, air conditioning, comfortable bed.
Felt very welcome, no reason to complain.

I stayed at Pension Balcones Azules for an overnight visit. The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and several attractions are within walking distance. The room was spacious and had plenty of sockets to charge my electronics. The bathroom was large, although there was some unused empty space. However, it was great for storing luggage. The highlight of my stay was Francesca, the girl at the reception. She was incredibly nice, helpful, and provided me with great information about the area. I can't imagine my stay without her. The hotel also had a balcony, which was a nice bonus.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
